I work on boards with no schematics. Can BoardLab help?
That is exactly what BoardLab was designed for. Take a photo of the board, place measurement points, and build your own reference database of voltages, resistances, and notes. When the same board model comes in again, you already have documented values to compare against.
Do I need special equipment to get started?
No. Take a photo with your phone, import it, and start placing measurement points. You can type in readings manually. Connecting a SCPI instrument (Keysight, Rigol, Siglent, Owon, Fluke, Tektronix) speeds things up, but it is not required.
Can I work without an internet connection?
Yes. Your entire database is stored locally — it is yours, on your machine. Cloud backup is an optional Pro feature that protects your data and enables sharing, but BoardLab works fully offline.
Can I share my board data with other technicians?
With Pro, you can share any project in one click. The other technician downloads it and sees every measurement point, reading, note, and image you recorded. Great for remote collaboration or handing off a repair.
What boardview formats are supported?
BRD format is fully supported, covering laptop, Mac, phone, and industrial boardview files. More formats are planned for future releases.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription?
Yes, anytime from your customer portal. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
